The touch of metal …

The touch of metal

There was a time when
the sky stood triumphant,
spilling dancing birds
and brilliance,
glittery smiles over
the cobalt nets of the sea.

Now the clouds scatter
heartbroken petals,
ashes of innocent violets
that will never breathe love
and the sun rays,
they have the touch of metal.

Summer nights

“Oh, the summer night has a smile of light and she sits on a sapphire throne.”

Summer nights

Summer nights,
pearls on royal spread,
I hear you in secret fogs and lulls,
when the winds color my dreams
in turquoise.

Summer nights,
shells breathing warmth,
I feel you in imaginary ripples,
where the memories glow
in ecstasy.

There, in the emerald world of silence,
jellyfish and peach sea flowers whisper.
There, with Poseidon’s gold, unseen and lost
lie the leftovers of enchantment,
the fantasies of rainbows and you.

Pumpkin time

Pumpkin time

It’s pumpkin time and I’m still awake.
Maybe it’s the heat tonight,
the noise from cars driving fast
on the road not so far
or teenagers talking loud,
having small party in the back yard.
Crooked intuition doesn’t leave me
in soothing thoughts.
One hard slap and the truth is said
with voice that rocks.

It’s the forbidden scent of his
that I earlier inhaled.
It’s the starry feeling in my stomach
when he first spoke to me.
It’s the smile, tempting me,
inviting me in sin to disappear.

Ever since the sun went down,
leaving red trace on the sky,
I’m sitting on the sand,
looking at the distance drawing hope,
thinking of what trace
his words left inside of me.
