Summer rain

“Everytime I see the lightening, everytime I hear the thunder…
I can feel you when the wind blows, blows right through my heart…
Somewhere in my heart I’m always dancing with you in the summer rain “

~ Belinda Carlisle

Summer rain

on my way home
as twilight touched the sky,
rain suddenly came, searching
fresh air and the velvet of exposed skin

fine drops drawing summer in hearts,
they smell the wind and disappear
leaves and branches dancing,
water laughs at my efforts to stay dry

my purple umbrella, guest of honor here
soaking wet clothes ready to travel
thunder and lightning against clear skies
clouds invade, but does it matter

eyes, hands, looking, slipping,
rainbows will drive the cars,
will send the green shadows away,
while our feet share a puddle.

Drip drop the moonlight goes …

Drip drop the moonlight goes …

“How sweet the moonlight sleeps upon this bank.
Here will we sit, and let the sounds of music
Creep in our ears; soft stillness, and the night
Become the touches of sweet harmony.”

Moonlight drops

In the breeze of summer
I find the foreshadows of heaven.
I long, but only a whisper I can hold.
In a piece from the sky and a jasmine scent
there is always another sunny day,
brimming fragrance of a rose bouquet.

In the leftovers of rain
I find the herald of loss and pain.
I run, but the concrete slips away.
In a dripping mist and a deplete rainbow
there is always a message to decipher,
lipstick scribbles on a tantalizing mirror.

In the drops of the moonlight
I caught the sight of your unknown face.
I shine, but only a short rapture I take.
In the afterglow and your embrace
there is always the hazard of gazing at love,
the pine to see you stay for one more day.

Storm

Storm

I wanted a storm tonight, a wild one,
with thunders and lightnings,
with heavy rain and brutal wind.

I needed the sound of the hurricane
to blunt the sound of my running heart
when I heard you knocking on my door,
when the bell woke up my abandoned confidence.

I needed the electric sparks lighting the sky,
to hide the glow of triumph in my eyes,
when I saw you coming to me with hope,
with million questions about tomorrow.

I wanted the noise of the raindrops to mix with
the noise of my melting, fragile self-defense,
when the perfection of your face met the look of my eyes.

And the shiver down my spine, the tremble through my skin,
I needed you to think it’s because of the cold  air,
not because of your lips touching my lips with finest kiss.

I wanted to hide my weakness about you for a while,
to stand independent and confident for another moment,
before your charm conquered me, before your hands took my hands
and your voice asked me to follow you in the maze of love.
