Neruda’s whispers

Neruda’s whispers

I want you here tonight, with eyes and hands
Ravenous, demanding to drink the silence of my inky curls.
I’ve given up every pale replacement, every word of hate,
I seek for the lagoon scent you left between satin and baldachin.

I ache for your lips leaving mine off-color,
Your smile – a beast cropping the armor inside my heart,
I void your fingers tracing the alabaster shadows of my skin,
I want you to inhale my name, to breathe me and let the violins play.

I have to elicit the colors of liquid sunshine when you speak,
Your untamed face when I hide my desires under a fake critique,
I long to feel you drain the winter out of my body,

And I’ve united vigor and passion against the dawn to come,
Following the rhythm of an ancient talisman to you,
A mistress of Cupid’s arrow, I dream to conquer your heart, tonight.

Door to heaven

Door to heaven

The night that just ended,
I wish it lasted a bit more.
I don’t want to forget,
I don’t want to go back
and be sane again.
Crazy is beautiful!
Mad is perfect!
Insane because of you
is what I need!

The sweet pain afflicting me,
I don’t want it to stop.
The love, I don’t want it
to fade away, not yet.
The cold of the night
I don’t want it gone,
I need an excuse to snuggle
next to you at any time.

The silk scarf you tied my eyes with,
I will wear every day,
I need to carry with me the feeling
of being a woman, of being special.
The thoughts, the memories,
the signs of what has been hours ago,
so dear to me, but no… I can’t wait.

I want again the real you.
I want the dark sky, the empty streets
and the fierce quietness.
I want to hear when the doors to heaven
open again, after your whisper,
after your voice fills my heart
with the words “I love you” …

Drip drop the moonlight goes …

Drip drop the moonlight goes …

“How sweet the moonlight sleeps upon this bank.
Here will we sit, and let the sounds of music
Creep in our ears; soft stillness, and the night
Become the touches of sweet harmony.”

Moonlight drops

In the breeze of summer
I find the foreshadows of heaven.
I long, but only a whisper I can hold.
In a piece from the sky and a jasmine scent
there is always another sunny day,
brimming fragrance of a rose bouquet.

In the leftovers of rain
I find the herald of loss and pain.
I run, but the concrete slips away.
In a dripping mist and a deplete rainbow
there is always a message to decipher,
lipstick scribbles on a tantalizing mirror.

In the drops of the moonlight
I caught the sight of your unknown face.
I shine, but only a short rapture I take.
In the afterglow and your embrace
there is always the hazard of gazing at love,
the pine to see you stay for one more day.
