Birthdays

“With mirth and laughter let old wrinkles come.” ― William Shakespeare

Another year, another birthday gone. I’ve grown a bit wiser/hopefully/, I’ve gathered another set of memories. Some good, some not that much, but for sure I’ve added at least a lesson more. And each day has been a present, even if not appreciated appropriately due to stormy weather or just because of the storms life offers us. But I’m happy to be an year older and thankful to all the people who shared my day with me. Thank you!

This year the best moment of my birthday was my cake. My very dear friend Maria surprised me with heart-shaped Red velvet cake and it made me feel really loved and blessed to have people like her around me. Because on the end of the day, what matters is the people that care about us and I am proud to say that my family and friends care about me.

Today, a week after my birthday, it’s my aunt Mary’s birthday. I want to wish her a wonderful day and to let her know, that despite the distance I think of her on her special day! Happy birthday my precious auntie Mary!

You always find such lovely quotes! I turned forty on the 6th of this month. Hope I’ve become a little wiser too!

I would have recognized you in that photo even if you hadn’t noted it. What a handsome family you have, Blaga, and what a gracious post this is. Happy Birthday again and best wishes for many more and for many more good times with good friends. Hugs!
