Life in colors

I saw a photography challenge on my friend Corina’s blog, Dragon’s dreams, where you have to present the colors red, white, yellow, blue and green with images, Corina got the idea from Chronicles of Illusions. And since I’ve been using my camera a lot lately, I decided to participate too. Thank you Jo and Corina for the idea!

RED- The image was taken 2 weeks ago on my way to island Evia, while I was waiting for the ferry boat. I saw it coming from a distance, because of the red colors on it and it was rather appealing and magical to see it stop, right in front of me, big boat, in its glory.

WHITE– The evzone soldiers keeping the Parliament in Athens safe. I love their summer uniforms, immaculate, satin-like white!

YELLOW  is not a color that I like very much, but the flower in the image is really beautiful, like a sun spreading life and smiles.

BLUE– I’m crazy about this color. Anything blue can bring me peace and inspiration. It’s hard to choose only one photo that presents this color, but I’m going with this one, because the blue material is my favorite scarf and the pendent is with my birth stone, a very dear present that I don’t take off my neck, from my friend Corina.

GREEN– this year it rained a lot here in Athens, just before the summer. For a while everything was so green and pleasant, it was amazing, compared to previous years, how green Athens could be. The image is from the National garden, it’s one of my favorite spots.

Wow, you did an awesome job with the challenge! :D I’m so glad you like the necklace and that picture of the garden is GORGEOUS! A “piece of paradise”, indeed! The guard outfits do look very crisp, although the fuzzy pom-poms on their shoes made me giggle a little. I think it’s neat that you can get so close to such a huge ship! You must be very close to the ocean – how wonderful! :)

I love the necklace Corina! I love the ocean, the sea, anything that is blue, wavy and has the fragrance of salt. Athens is on the sea coast, but I live in the center/ near Acropolis/, but every time I can I go to the beach. The guards shoes are funny, yes, and very heavy indeed :) Thank you for the idea once again!
