Leaning into temptation

Lead me not into temptation; I can find the way myself.

Leaning into temptation

If only you would release the stars on the sky,
if you were to bring the beats back into my heart,
it would repair the sounds of crying, lonely panthers,
it would break the arrows piercing the vulnerable Atlantic.

Like a raging fire in the ripples of a swan lake,
like a burning moon buried in the hills of Jalisco,
if you only let the winds to dry the raindrops on my lips
and smile when the sunset doles out the illusion of a touch.

If I only knew that you still exist, somewhere,
surrounded by doves and violets, just a flash of you,
only then I can lean into the spiral shadows of the night,
only then I can lean into the temptation to find you.

    so worthwhile, to search
when the objective is the location of bliss.
An old word, but undeniably pervasive in the pursuit of love
of any kind and in any place.
