About “Liberation”:

Amora Madre is content in the Smokey Mountains pursuing her teaching of love, things of  the spirit, and metaphysics. Her childhood invisible playmates, Casey and Nia, are always by her side. But when soul mate Gabriel Ephraim enters her life, she is drawn into the heart of a terrible encounter with the spirit world in the skies over Washington D.C. Catapulted into service for the Intergalactic Supernatural Intelligence Agency, ISIA, the kindred lovers soon discover the existence of an invisible wickedness over the city, its galactic origins, and its evil designs for national and world events.

As part of an Andrusian galactic strike force, assembled to dismantle the malevolent legion’s brutal matrix, Amora and Gabriel, seasoned and accomplished, embark on a dangerous adventure filled with Onaweyans, Scorpillians, historical figures, and a confrontation with the dark supernatural syndicate over the fate of the United States and the earth. With journeys into galactic and dimensional worlds, interactions with fantastic characters and creatures, and revelation of the current struggle between the spiritual forces of good and evil, LIBERATION draws the reader into a world where the spiritual dimensions and reality converge.

Tell me about the book, how did you come up with the idea and the name for the book?

While living in Washington, D.C., author I was inspired to write Liberation: Book One of the Andrusian Chronicles after visiting monuments and the National Archives.  I felt an intangible sense of power walking the streets of Washington, viewing the monuments, and considering all that has happened to make the United States a land of freedom.

My insight? That there was an awesomely powerful supernatural agency in existence that was protecting this nation and planet, and that it was based in Washington D.C.—only no one knew about it. As real events, vivid impressions of other worlds, and fantastic visions of light and dark forces gripped me, I wrote Liberation as if the Andrusian race were calling out to me to write their chronicles.

What message did you want to send to the readers with “Liberation”?

The message that I wish to send about Liberation is that it’s a paranormal fantasy that is out of the box. It doesn’t follow the normal rules and challenges the reader not only spiritually but with real current life events. Are there more realities than our dimension of existence? Is there a spirit realm that we can’t see? Is it affecting us today? Are ghosts real? What are we facing as a race right now in this time period? Liberation suggests that the Human Race has a choice of 2 paths it can follow at this point in time. One holds destruction and despair and the end of all life as we know it and the other has a fantastic new chapter of existence waiting for us to uncover.

Where can people purchase the book if anyone is interested?

The book is available at www.amazon.com and www.barnesandnoble.com or they can order it from any bookstore. This is a great time to do this because the revised edition has just been made available and the launching of this edition is this Thursday July 21st at the internationally recognized bookstore Changing Hands in Tempe, Arizona at 7:00pm. I invite all of the readers from this area personally and will sign their book at the event!

Any plans for the future?

Absolutely, I am working on Book 2. Liberation is only the first book of a trilogy. I am also working on several other projects connected to my work. I have a school that I developed years ago for the study of the spiritual side of the heart. We call it Heart School.  I’m going to be offering webinars and teleseminars in the near future for those that would love to focus some of their time on heart studies. Liberation is all about the worlds of love and I feel there are many people out there who would be in discovering how to apply love into their own lives.

I would also love for Liberation to go further so I’m drawing up plans in areas, like pitching it to movie companies and acquiring major distribution and translating it to Spanish as well.

Advice for those who write and haven’t been published yet/ like me and most of my readers/?

There has never been a better time for authors to publish their own works. Everything in the publishing world is changing and I mean everything. It will be morphing into the path that movies and music follow, online sales, online marketing and big companies losing their grip. You can do it yourself. You can market it yourself. But do it right and save your money. It takes money to create a product and your book is a product for the world.

Go and visit sites like www.readerwiews.com. You will see just one of many companies that support independent writers. If you want to have a book done then get going, make time everyday to follow your dream, and put time into what your heart wants. Do it because you love and respect yourself and your work. There are many industries built on self publishing. Choose well. There is a lot of junk out there. Go look at I Universe. Google self publishing, or you can do what I did. Create your own brand. There were no publishing houses that focused just on books that empower the heart. Not just romance novels or religious publishers but stories that show the power of love, the power of the heart.

So I created one. And it’s not about sex or religion though it is spiritual. It’s about Love, why because that means something to me. Find out what means something to you and write about it. Then publish it, whether with an established well respected publisher, or your own. Don’t forget. Save your money. It takes money, thousands. You’ll need a publicist too, to help you place your work in the right place. But it’s worth it. Why? Because it’s what you love, it’s who you are in this world.

If you don’t have money right now then write. Get your work edited and have it ready for when you do manage to save a few dollars. Then do it right and make it look great. Because YOU are worth it! Get professionals to help and you’ll save yourself a lot of headaches. Until then do your homework and study the path of writing and publishing so you’ll be one step ahead when it’s your time to do it!

Thanks for the feature!
