Love was walking …

Love was walking …

Walking with the drizzle,
watching the drops of rain
mixing with the noise of hope,
leaving the irrational fear,
the intruder of my dreams
helpless, blind, disorientated,
begging for mercy, for help.

My heart before cringing,
now growing confident,
my eyes once looking weak,
now glowing and dark green.
Miraculous glitter touching
the rainbow behind the clouds,
smiling to strangers at the park,
chasing the fatigue, flowing away.

And then … Stillness.
Beauty flooding my body
and mind, because love was
walking next to me,
encouraging my heart beat,
whispering secrets to passion,
showing me your face
in the crowd of thousands.

Sigh. Love is in the air, huh Blaga? :-)

Beautiful. I love this line: “showing me your face in the crowd of thousands.” When in love you only see that one person. Again, sigh.

With love comes strength and confidence. May you always walk with love, dear Blaga. Another memorable poem. Many lines to savor. Many layers to mine. Worthy of multiple read. I like the way with “Stillness…” the poem seemed to become still. Most effective. Poem on …

Happy Potluck and Happy Valentine’s Day.

    Ain’t love wonderful!

Happy Valentine’s Day! May you have oodles of love and lots of sunshine and chocolate, organic, of course!

    P.S. I’ve moved to posterous.
I like it there much better, I can add songs to my poems – and to me that adds so much to the works; I’m a visual and audial person, love mixing poetry with images and music.
It was too time consuming to be in both places so I deleted my blog at wordpress and am concentrating on the one at posterous.
No google adds! Gosh I love that!
And no IP tracking if someone wants to leave a comment.
It’s much less invasive and cool.

But, I made friends on wordpress so I like to check in now and then.

Hi, Blaga! As you can see The Jinn Poet is just fine, a western gal in eastern garb, in a sense. See her response on my blog. Well, too funny. My imagination kicked into high gear, the only thing is we do know iife is that way for many women. So check out the story she detailed in the comment on the poem.

Have a wonderful day. I have to be off-line now all of Sunday. See you tomorrow.

This was wonderfully written. It reminded me of that saying, “Don’t walk in front of me, I may not follow. Don’t walk behind me, I may not lead. Just walk beside me, and be my friend.” :) Love walks with us, I think…not too far ahead, not too far behind…but beside us. I really enjoyed this poem.
